Studio Policies

  • Young beginners under the age of six are encouraged to schedule a trial lesson prior to enrollment to determine readiness and placement. If the student is not accepted into the program following the trial lesson, no registration fee or tuition will be charged.

For lessons cancelled by the studio due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or makeup lesson will be provided.

Students withdrawing prior to the second scheduled lesson may receive a prorated tuition refund based on lessons attended. No refunds will be issued after the second scheduled lesson.

The studio reserves the right to dismiss students for the following reasons:

    • Repeated late or missed payments

    • Excessive absences or tardiness

    • Failure to practice or prepare consistently

    • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior

    • Lack of cooperation with studio policies

  • To maintain a focused and respectful learning environment, students and families are kindly asked to observe the following guidelines:

    • Please arrive on time for all lessons.

    • Students should come prepared with all required music, books, and materials.

    • Students are expected to practice regularly and complete weekly assignments.

    • Please remain quiet while entering and leaving the studio.

    • Food and beverages are not permitted in the lesson area.

    • To minimize distractions, siblings and additional guests should not attend lessons unless previously approved.

    • Parents are encouraged to support and participate in their child’s musical education.

    • Lesson notes or short recordings may be taken during lessons with teacher approval.

  • Tuition is due by the first week of each month unless otherwise arranged.

Tuition reserves the student’s lesson time and is not prorated for missed lessons.

Lessons missed by the instructor will be rescheduled or credited.

Lessons missed by the student are generally not eligible for makeup lessons. However, makeup lessons may be offered at the teacher’s discretion for emergencies such as illness, severe weather, or family emergencies when at least 24 hours notice is provided whenever possible.

Students expecting to miss more than two lessons during a semester should notify the studio in advance. Extended absences may require a temporary leave-of-absence arrangement, subject to studio approval.
